Inform your out-of-town guests about your wedding well in advance, this will allow them to make arrangements to attend your wedding. As weddings are an occasion where friends and family get together to visit, your guests will generally want to make their reservations at the same location. A hotel will block off a requested number of rooms in your name. To do this your wedding reception does not need to be at the hotel location. Send this information by mail or internet to your guests, making it easier for them to book their accommodations. Guests will then make their own reservation from that block of rooms reserved in your name.
Don’t forget to book your honeymoon night, either in the same location as your guests or a romantic, quiet spot for just the two of you. Bed and Breakfasts and larger hotels sometimes have Bridal Suites where you will have the quite seclusion you may be looking for.
